Services included: Up to 130 hours of service

As soon as move date is determined start process of:

• Meet with client or designated person.  Go room by room to determine what can or should be moved based on a floor plan of new residence.  Present move schedule or time line.
• Meet to do the sorting of items based on WWW Action Plan.  Begin the disposal process and make arrangements for experts or consultants to come for appraisals.  Determine the services that movers will perform.
• WITTZ END will schedule and meet with 3 movers to obtain move estimates.  Prepare an analysis of the estimates, and meet with client or designated person to review the analysis and determine the best company to perform the move.
• Present client with a checklist of items that they will need to handle together: i.e.: Notify doctors, dentists, lawyers and other professional service providers of the move plans.
• Meet with client and family to go over move schedule and WWW Action Plan to see what still needs to be done.
• Make final arrangements for items based on where they are going – family, sell, charity, or dispose of in some safe manner.  Secure the pickup, disposal or shipping of these items.

Four to Three Weeks Before Move:

• Notify post office, utilities, newspapers etc., of moving dates and dates for termination of services; go over checklist with client.
• Start packing personal items that movers will not pack.  For example: coin, stamp or other collections, jewelry or other valuable items.

Last Two Weeks Before Move:

• Have all items going to family, charity or sold out of the house.  The Attic, Basement and Garage should be cleared and clean.  All items remaining in the home are what the movers will be taking to the new residence.

Pack Day

• Supervise the movers during packing.  Ensure that contents of cartons are marked – room and contents.

Move Day

• Supervise the movers during loading and delivery.  Includes: furniture is placed according to floor plan, make beds, insuring items are not in the way, and unpack any necessary items to make it through the first night in new home.

After Move:

• Unpack china and put away per client’s instructions; hang clothes in closet; setup linen closet; and arrange disposal of packing materials.

*Fees for service providers (trash removals, appraisers, handyman, plumbers, electricians etc.) required for the move will be charged separately and are not included in WITTZ END pricing.
