Services included: Up to 45 hours of service
As soon as move date is determined start process of:
- Meet with client or designated person. Go room by room to determine what can or should be moved based on a floor plan of new residence. Present move schedule or time line. Present client with a checklist of items that clients and family will need to handle together; i.e.: notify doctors, dentists, lawyers, and other professional service providers of the move plans, make arrangements for any medical information to be transferred.
- Based on WWW Action Plan, determine exact services that the movers will perform, schedule and meet with 3 movers for move estimates. Prepare an analysis of the estimates and meet with client or designated person to review the analysis to determine which moving company to use for your move and schedule move date with selected moving company.
Four Weeks Before Move:
- Meet with client and family to go over move schedule and review WWW Action Plan to make sure everything is on schedule.
- Make final arrangements for items. Where are they going – family, sell, donate to charity or dispose of in a safe manner. Finalize pick up, disposal or shipping of items.
Week Before Move:
- Meet with family and client to walk through home. Make sure that our WWW Action Plan is or will be completed. If not come up with plan to complete everything before movers arrive.
Pack Day
- Supervise the movers during packing. Ensure that contents of cartons are marked – room and contents.
Move Day
- Supervise the movers during loading and delivery. Includes: furniture is placed according to floor plan, make beds, insuring items are not in the way, and unpack any necessary items to make it through the first night in new home.
*Fees for service providers (trash removals, appraisers, handyman, plumbers, electricians etc.) required for the move will be charged separately and are not included in WITTZ END pricing.
